Lauren grew up in Chicago, IL. She lived in Sydney, Australia and London, UK before moving to New York City in 2016.
Lauren graduated from Central Saint Martins (London, UK) in 2016 with a degree in Fashion Design with Print.
Lauren currently resides in Brooklyn, NY with her cats Squishy, Dolly Parton, and Juno alongside her 7 lb chihuahua, Angeline.

Lauren Krischer a multidisciplinary fashion creative and artist with over a decade of experience spanning fashion styling, sustainable design, textile and print development, visual merchandising, and creative direction. She graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fashion Print from Central Saint Martins (London, UK) in 2016.
Visual storytelling, innovation, and purpose-driven design are at the core of her work across disciplines. She is the founder and designer of Acid Cat, a sustainable fashion label based in New York, with one-of-a-kind, limited editioned, and small batch production collections with reworked vintage garments and deadstock materials. Acid Cat merges bold aesthetics with conscious practices.
Lauren is also a freelance stylist across e-commerce, editorials, campaigns, and videos for fashion brands and musicians. She has a long history with visual merchandising, brand identity development, and textile design. The range of her skills allows her to approach projects with a hybrid perspective, balancing creativity, strategy, and execution across mediums and ideas.
